HELLO THERE! Welcome to the website of the North Texas Business and Professional Women’s League, Incorporated. Thank you so much for visiting us today! While you are here, you will find lots of information about who we are and the programs we offer in our communities. The North Texas League was founded in 2003 by four awesome women whose vision and persistent work helped to facilitate the rich history that you will find evidence of in these pages as you scroll through our website. The website is designed with visitors in mind, to aid you in finding specific areas of interest via Tabs.
We are part of the South Central District, one of six national districts as well as an international affairs district; under the umbrella of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Incorporated.
Our Mission is to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women; to serve as advisors for young people seeking to enter business and the professions; to improve the quality of life in our local and global communities, and to foster good fellowship.
Our Theme is “Positioning To Soar!
The North Texas League has worked persistently to provide the community with programs such as Domestic Violence on Lock Down; Safe Encounters, A Two-way Street; North Texas Food Bank Volunteer Efforts; Susan G. Our local Signature Program is The Annual “Black and White” Scholar’s Fundraiser Luncheon for Student College Scholarships. Internationally we are active in the international affairs district, participating in the commissioning of water wells, children’s clothing and shoes, school supplies, and toys throughout the Continent of Africa.
